Last year, committed friends and pink gin drinkers Sofie Hagen and Mark Watson began a podcast in which they set each other regular self-improvement challenges. The idea was that they knew one another well enough to exploit each other's fears and hangups. But in a loving way. A loving constructive way. Normally. The challenges have ranged from 'ask your dad what he loves about you' to 'go a day without internet'. They aim to provoke maximum discomfort, difficulty... and, in the end, personal progress.
For this special South Bank recording of the podcast, the challenges will set each other a one-off large-scale challenge to be completed by the night of May 8. On the night, they'll report back to each other, argue, and work out where their lives go from here. With jokes.
