Getting to Underbelly Cavendish Square

The closest London Underground station is Oxford Circus. The closest station that provides step-free access from the train to the street is Green Park which serves the Victoria and Piccadilly lines. Up-to-date information on lift services at Green Park is available here. There is one disabled parking space on Cavendish Square itself, located close to the entrance to our site. There are further spaces available on Dean’s Mews and Chandos Street. More information on parking with a Blue Badge in Westminster can be found here.

Facilities

There is ramped access throughout the site and into the Spiegeltent performance venue. As the festival takes place in a park, some areas of the site are on grass so please ask a member of staff if you require any assistance to access these areas. The Spiegeltent is fully accessible apart from the booths which are accessed via 2 steps. Please enquire with our box office if you have any questions about different sections of seating. Our main bar also has a low-level section of the counter. The food concessions do not have a low-level counter section; however, staff are more than happy to come out from behind the counter to take your order. We have a range of toilet facilities including all-gender toilets, an accessible toilet, and baby-changing facilities.

We welcome service dogs everywhere and can provide water bowls if required.

The box office and the Spiegeltent have induction hearing loops. Please ask a front of house staff member if you have any questions about this.

A large print version of menus for all bars and food concessions are available.

Toilets

The accessible toilet is located within the main toilet area of the site. The toilet unit is accessed by a shallow ramp. The door opens outwards and is wide enough for both manual and powered wheelchairs. Inside, there are fixed handrails and drop-down rails to assist with self-transfer between a wheelchair and the toilet. All handrails are colour-contrasting. There is a low-level sink with sensor taps installed.

Performances

If you require the assistance of a personal assistant or carer to attend, your companion may be eligible for a complimentary ticket. Free companion tickets can be booked in person or over the phone.

We offer captioned performances for certain shows, with a screen showing text which describes the performance. This service may be useful for people who are D/deaf, deafened or hard of hearing. The date for a captioned performance of La Clique will be announced soon.

We offer relaxed performances for certain shows with a more relaxed performance environment. There is a relaxed attitude to noise and movement in the Spiegeltent. House lights will be up at a low level throughout the performance. No changes are made to the lighting and sound within the show. More details of relaxed performances in 2022 will appear here soon.
